why i don't blog anymore

sometimes, you can just say what you feel as and when you feel. sometimes, that way, people won't take it wrongly. at the same time, only those that need to know knows.

sometimes, things said may be forgotten and perhaps even forgiven. but once this is put down on paper, or (GASP!) published on a blog, it's kinda hard to take back and much harder to be forgiven, no?

i played a prank thru this very blogspace once many years back and it did kinda screw things up between some people who i still regard very highly for to this day and i must say i regret jeopardising that friendship for what it could have been for the sake of a joke. that made me rethink the intelligence of sharing so much in such an open forum such as this.

i think you get the picture. this is me signing off for the final time. this site will no longer exist come 1st August 2008.

it's been a while since i last updated this place... well lotsa new developments (if that's what can call it!)...

met some new interesting friends and to some interesting places...

am alone again though... i have now chosen to stay single for the next 6 months....

this way, i'd not hurt anymore people in 2007... and also to avoid doing more harm to myself..

i pray for those who are lost right now... i pray for them to find their path and for them to find strength to carry on.

for those who have found their happiness, i pray that they will always learn to cherish it and to relive each wonderful moment like it was the first time, with the comfort of knowing there is a safety net that will catch them everytime they fall....

old habits are hard to kick, but lets all pray that we find the strength and will to lead us to be better people.

Tom and Sandie got hitched last weekend. It was such a merry occassion with so much happening at the same time. I got the chance to know them at a more intimate manner and including some of Tom's family and Sandie's friends. Congrats to both of you... remember all the things i had to drink and eat to see you two marry-ah!

Spent the entire weekend withthe newlyweds and boy what a blast it was! a weekend that i thoroughly enjoyed and relaxed... i am beginning to think that i seriously need to take a break.

Work has been hectic these past 2 months... been lots of major changes to the team as well as the project. It's not getting any easier, but somehow i find myself loving it even more. funny innit?

but right now, i'm pretty drained and tired. am looking forward to a week's break sometime in August, now that Amin has given me the green light. i wonder where should i go? hmmmm...

there's plenty of reasons to celebrate. Mukhlis has just got hitched a couple of weekends ago.

So, congrats to the newly married couple. May this beautiful union bring many many wonderful joys.

Happy 25th to YN... older, wiser, richer... but still so kwai lan. muahahhahahah

the lovable BOB also celebrated his 25th earlier this month.....

and so did a good old friend, Serene... who's an aspiring designer in her own right... happy quarter century to U. (stole this pic off her friendster acc.)

And also, not forgetting... the livewire of the group, Gerard Chung, who incedentally also celebrated his 25th just this past Friday... We miss u dude...happy B'day.

And finally, happy 23rd birthday to the gorgeous Hanna Ong. U will always have a special place in my heart. I believe that you will be able to accomplish all your dreams with ease. whatever our future brings, just remember that i'll be there for u. :)

Work has been hectic. plenty of ups and even more downs. but thankfully, there's the team and their never-ending support and encouragement. and being single again after so many years just isn't easy. but i'll survive, i guess... I'm damn hot what, so surely no probs one right? ahahhahah.

well... congrats and well wishes to the newlyweds, the quartercenturians, and hanna (whose newfound freedom will let her flourish and prove her worth).

for those wondering what has happened between last november til now, well i joined a local bank in the Debt Capital Markets and Structured Finance division... my role is as the tea lady-boy, sexcretary, analyst, and bond structurer.... pretty fun and exciting.

had i still stayed in Audit, you'd hear me still complain of the same ol shites to no end...

well, the guys in the office are all great and we get along pretty well. must be my magnetic personality! LOL

met many interesting corporate leaders in my 6 months in HLB and guys like Tom, Azli, Abang Kam, Uncle David and Karen really showed me the ropes. Was given my confirmation in my 3rd month and that was a real motivation.

Am very close to closing my first deal in the bank and it will (hopefully) be the first of its kind in the WORLD over too!

exciting times ahead and will be looking forward to fill you guys in, in days to come.

meanwhile, also had taken up fishing and golf too! ahhahahahah.. i amuse (yes, not amaze!) myself. never thought that the very things i find boring in the past would be the things i relish in on most weekends now.

hanna, the love of my life, has enrolled in UITM doing a degree in Mass Comm (PR) and is sometimes afraid that she might lose me due to all the temptations in my line of work... well, all i can say is i love u and dun worry. :)

anyhow... lets all get together soon... lets make G jealous since he's not around to party with us!

What a Sunday

Hellosssss to all... it's been a few months since i had updated this site... so for those that still dropped by once a while to see how i've been, thank you.
Please allow me to pick up where we left off with an interesting story...

Last Sunday, i needed to go do some banking... and refuel my car for the week. Since the boys were busy that day or still in bed, i went alone lah... wanted to take Moshi, my beloved dog along, but was afraid that he might cry if i leave him in the car to go to the ATM.

and so, anyhow, i went to the SHELL kiosk in Section 17 but was informed by the indian lady there that their system cannot be accessed for the next 10 minutes. so, without wanting to waste much time i went to Paramount to pay my bills and headed to Bandar Utama's driving range to whack 100 balls.
there i saw a hongkie actor tzeto-something (who was in one of the young and dangerous series). but anyhow, after i was done it was already noon. so on my way back i stopped by the shell in BU to get some gas.

as i was pumping gas into the car, came a safari green pearl coloured Volvo S40 bearing the no. plate DD ##.

my first tots were "wow, my dream car (for ages 26 - 28)!" but what was more shocking was the driver of that beauty was none other than..... (drum roll & the usual JENGJENGJENG) ....

the HOTTIE who greets you to a great morning on ntv7 every weekday... dressed in yellow blouse and tight blue jeans... looking resplendent and reminded me of tweety bird :) LOLwhich made me, the distant admirer, feel like Sylvester J. Pussycat, Sr. anyways, she strutted along into the shop and picked up her Sunday Star and pranced like a showhorse back into the car while i salivated at the beauty (she did stop in her tracks to steal a glance at my car though!)...

luckily i had my shades on... otherwise sure look like a hamsap wolf one!!!! LOL

i went it to the shop after i was done to pay for some fags and got back out and was pleasently surprised that she still hasn't left. another car that wanted to exit the kiosk had to manouvre his way out due to her sideways parking yang fail JPJ exam... ahhahahahhaha...

as i started up my car, she fired hers up as well and then... (JENGJENGJENG moment no.2) she looked into the side mirror and flashed the most charming smile at me and waved!

was so excited by the fact that DI waved and smiled at me, i immediately reached for my phone to inform hanna... but alas, she naturally didn't share my excitement. but anyhow, if lady destiny will have it that i spot the S40 with license plate that resembles more of a huge rack than a proper number, i will this time be more prepared and will wave back too ;p

there's been some new developments.

CAREERwise: i might be moving on soon. there was an offer from a local bank as a result from a recommendation from a new but dear friend CWJ.

HObbIES: i have taken up fishing. it turns out it isn't as boring as it seems if you are the one holding the rod. as a matter of fact, its quite CHALLENGING.

Ride$: my car is still sitting in the workshop as a result of the accident the day after mikel's birthday do. it's nearly 2 months. i hope to get it back by next week, favourably.

DresS4sucCeSS: went to a tailor with Hanna and made myself a new suit for my coming interview. It should look spanking... i hope. will be picking it up tomorrow. will post some pics up once i have it.

Friends: I am very pleased that despite the recent slum i'm experiencing in my workplace, i have several true buddies who are stongly behind me and are truly happy for the new developments in my career. I am very proud and honoured to have them walk tall along me in the line i'm in. real men, they are. I salute you.

bushwackers

vell vell... the verdick iz out. i iz not got the promotion. it vuz 3 pm yesterday when the list vuz issued. all of us waited anxiously for it and when it came, everynone stopped verk.

i looked at it and hunted high and low for my name. but, alas, it wasn't there. i vuz a bit disappointed at first. but upon closer inspection, all of those in my batch didn't get it either. well, at least i wasn't left out alone.

about roughly half an hour later, the 3 HR ladies came and distributed the payslip and bonus. vell, at least some redemption. ahahhahahahhahahah... nice lar.

it'll definitely help me clear off my accumulating bills and the cost of the repair to my car which some arsehole caused (just in case his insurance company refuses to cover for it) with a lil something something left to save.

let the gud times roll, i say!

happy go lucky

every so often i often forget just how lucky i am to have such a wonderful life. i always want more. more money, greater achievements in studies and my career, get noticed by some new hot chick in the building...

and then, everyday i am reminded of the wonderful fact of just how great a girlfriend i have and how much she loves and cares for me. how she will do her very very best so that it'll make me happy. I wish... i wish i too can give her the kind of happiness she brnigs to me.
